Presentation of the publication "Glances"

The Blueproject Foundation is pleased to present the publication "Glances", about the exhibition by the artist Alicja Kwade in Il Salotto, on Saturday April 27 at 5pm, at ArtsLibris, the International Fair of Contemporary Publishing.

This publication, the first one in Spanish dedicated entirely to Alicja Kwade’s work, has been conceived for the exhibition “Glances” and brings together exhibition views, of the brand new works on show and a selection of previous works related to this show. On top of the introduction, this publication contains an interview with the artist and a text by Pol Capdevila, professor at the humanities department of Pompeu Fabra University, in which he ties one of his lines of research on manifestations of time in art and culture with Kwade’s work.

The design of this publication is inspired by the artist’s sculptures, her moving panels especially, and presents a selection of quotes related to the notions explored in the exhibition as textual inputs interspersed with the pictures.

In the presentation of the publication, a dialogue will be established between Pedro Torres and Pol Capdevila about the work of the artist, as well as an explanation of the creative process of the publication by Cristina López.

In addition, the Blueproject Foundation has sponsored the design of gloves and bags produced by ArtsLibris by the artist Dora García.
