The work donated by Pablo Rasgado is part of “—– (—
—– ——- — —-.),” the solo exhibition he presented at the
Blueproject Foundation from April 5 to June 2, 2019.
The exhibition brings together previously unpublished
sculptures created by the artist himself based on secrecy
and the concealment of information. Each sculpture will be
accompanied by the source material for the information,
as well as a model. The sculptures are based on pages of
confidential documents “sanitized” and “leaked” into
the public domain, read as architectural plans to give
tangibility to the censorship in a three-dimensional plane.
The artist aims to highlight, in addition to censorship, the
architecture of the text, which, thanks to blank spaces,
omissions, and other graphic devices, has a visual journey
beyond the message.
