The photograph donated to the foundation is part of the exhibition Bukra Inshallah, The Libyan War, which ME-MO, a collective of internationally recognized photojournalists, held at the Blueproject Foundation in 2015. Italian Fabio Bucciarelli, Spaniard Manu Brabo, and Catalan Guillem Valle, winners of the World Press Photo, Pulitzer Prize for Photography, and Robert Capa Gold Medal competitions, present some of the snapshots they have taken of the Libyan conflict.

Since the first uprisings against Muammar al-Gaddafi began in Libya on February 16, 2011, and despite the change of government, the country remains a no-man’s-land. Currently, four years after the start of the conflict, militias and Islamist groups are fighting each other for control of the territory.
