Taking as my starting point the simultaneous publication
of three of Kierkegaard’s books in 1843, I examine
the persistence of an instant in memory, repetition as a
temporal structure, and the paradox of the simultaneous
and the sequential. Like a Tasmanian devil spinning
endlessly, the reflection traces circles around the
impossibility of fixing time.
